How do I build a route?

There are two ways. The quick one: pick only the length at the top and the app builds a loop from where you stand. The precise one: tap start and destination on the map yourself. Both end with the same button: Build route, 10 coins.

Way 1: pick only the length

When the app opens, the filter at the top is collapsed and shows only the length: 1 to 2 km, 3 to 6 km or 7 to 15 km. Tap one. Everything else is set for you: the start is your current position and the route is a loop that ends there again. After that the full filter unfolds in case you want to change something.

Way 2: tap start and destination

Tap the map once, that is the start (A). Tap a second time, that is the destination (B). The route shows as a preview. In the filter you can also type an address into the A and B fields instead of tapping, switch on Round route (then B equals A) and move the length slider.

Build the route

With start and destination set, tap Build route. It costs 10 coins, however many stops the route has. Reset route starts over. The finished route stays in your route list in the profile, also later.

If you have fewer than 10 coins the app does not build a shorter route; it waits until you have enough again. You earn coins on the way, see Coins.

Which places end up in the route

The app picks places in a corridor between start and destination so that the distance matches the chosen length. Places you have already visited are grey on the map and are not put into a route again.

Frequently asked questions

What does a route cost?
10 coins, regardless of the number of stops. Coins are the game currency you earn by walking, not money.
Can I type an address as the start?
Yes. Unfold the filter and type the address into the A or B field.
Can the route end where it started?
Yes. With the quick way that is the default. In the filter the switch is called Round route.
What if I do not have enough coins?
The route is not built. Finish a route you already have, answer questions, or exchange gems for coins.
